Sally Jo Jafari

Sally Jo Brandt Jafari, 74, was born March 11,1951 and passed away peacefully on July 22,2025 at the UPMC Hospital in Carlisle, surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Rae Anna Ziegler Brandt. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband "Jeff" Jafari whom she married on May 20,1980 and who was the love of her life. She is survived by her sons Charles (Chuck), Baker, Robert Baker and his wife Carrie. She is also survived by her brother Rodney Brandt and his wife Robyn, their children, Ryan Brandt and his wife Brenna and Kelsey Brandt and her fiancée Jed Sigler and her sister Melissa Brandt Yoder and her husband Vernon and their daughters Jenae Glatsky and her husband Evan and Makyla Yoder. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, Josh, Matthew, Carlea, Madison, Dylan, Brian and Kelly Baker. She was a graduate of East Juniata High School and Central Penn Business School and attended Harrisburg Area Community College. She was a lifelong member of Lost Creek Presbyterian Church and her connection with her pastor Graham Fowler and the caring congregation remained strong. Sally was an avid reader and especially enjoyed reading books about Germany after living there earlier in her life. She loved making new friends and especially cherished her special group of childhood girlfriends. She showed her love and care for family and friends by always remembering them by sending cards of concern and birthday wishes. She was much loved and will be sorely missed. Sally's funeral will be held on Tuesday July 29 at 11:00 with a viewing from 10:00- 11:00 at Lost Creek Presbyterian Church, 517 Main Street, McAlisterville with Rev. Graham Fowler officiating. Interment will follow the service at Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery in McAlisterville.
