Sally Moon Obituary
Sally J. Moon, 84, of Hobe Sound, FL, died peacefully Monday, July 24, 2023, at home, from the effects of cancer. Born July 26, 1938, in New Kensington, PA, to Arthur R. and Anne M. (Hull) Glensky, she lived most of her life in Tarentum, PA before moving, in 2000, to FL.
Sally’s hands were never still. All that knew her recognized that her talents and imagination had no limits; whether she was expressing her ingenuity through painting, decorating or flower arranging, her creations touched many lives.
Sally is survived by her loving husband Bob; sons, Jeff (Colette) Garmer, Alan Garmer and Dan (Nadine Wise) Garmer; grandchildren, Cameron (Katie) Garmer, Kelly (Brianna Barlet) Garmer, Elaine (Jason) Spencer, Delaney Garmer; great-grandchild, Hayden Spencer; brother, Jim Glensky and numerous nieces. Also, Bob’s children, Bobby (Bernadette) Moon, Tami (Randy) Elam and Tricia (Sherill) Strayhorn and their children and grandchildren.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Becky Weaver; and former husband/father of her children, Alvin L. Garmer.
A memorial service will be held at Peace Presbyterian Church, 4881 SE Cove Rd, Stuart, FL 34997 on Sunday, Sept 24th at 2:00 PM.
