Sally A. Sneeringer

Sally A. Sneeringer, age 81, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023 at Hanover Hall Nursing Home in Hanover.
Sally was born in Hanover on May 27, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Henry C. Sneeringer and Katherine T. (Kegel) Sneeringer. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in McSherrystown in 1959 and retired from Frank E. Klunk Electrical Contractor, LLC. She was a life member of S.A.V.E.S. Sally was also a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove where she served as an organist, coordinated the Basilica Club Fundraiser, was a collection counter, served on the Parish Council, Finance Committee, and as a Eucharistic Minister.
Sally is survived by her brother Donald C. Sneeringer and wife Delores; her nieces Karen Little, Alice Lippy, Diane McBride, Anna Kendrick, Ellen Bievenour, and Christi Clouser; her nephews Donald, Steve, Michael, Bill, and Brad Sneeringer; many grand nieces and nephews; and great grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Carrol G. "Jerry" Sneeringer; and her nieces Julia Sneeringer and Terri Neiderer.
A Memorial Mass of Christion Burial will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1:00PM at Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Dr., Hanover, PA 17331 with Rev. Dwight Schlaline as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at the Parish Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 12:00PM – 1:00PM at Sacred Heart Basilica. Funeral services are under the direction of Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of McSherrystown.
