Sally Lou Staton, 78 of Arab passed away Tuesday October 7, 2025, at Diversicare of Arab. Sally was born August 17, 1947, in Blount County, the daughter of Truman Alldredge and Evie Lorene "Jimmie" Millwood Alldredge. She was a 1965 graduate of J.B. Pennington High School and worked for many years at the nursing home in Arab, in the dietary department. After she retired, she became a resident of the nursing home. Sally was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son: James Truman Staton (JoAnn); host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister: Lillie Bagwell; niece: Tammy (Glenn) Baker; nephew: Terry Bagwell; host of great and great great nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Graveside Service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday October 11, 2025, at Rock Springs Cemetery with Brother Gary McRae officiating, Blountsville Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Blountsville Funeral Home.
