Sam Brower April 16, 2003 - December 1, 2022
Southlake, Texas - Samuel Montgomery Brower, 19, passed away into the arms of Jesus in the early morning of December 1, 2022, Samuel "Sam" Montgomery Brower passed away at 19 years old outside of Woodson, Texas.
Sam was born April 16, 2003, as the youngest child and a triplet in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert C. Brower and Lisa A. Brower.
Sam grew up in Fort Worth where he attended Trinity Valley and Tanglewood Elementary. While living in Fort Worth he liked to play video games, airsoft, flag football and baseball. In 2016, Sam and his family moved to Southlake, Texas. In High School Sam worked part time for Dragons Teen Moving and Brower's Moving and Junk Removal. In 2022 Sam graduated from Carroll Senior High School. After graduation Sam and his brother went to work in the oil fields of West Texas and Oklahoma for their Dad's oil & gas company as roustabouts, even though it was hard work Sam said he enjoyed it.
In Sam's free time, you would find him playing his favorite war games on his computer; fishing on the Clear Fork of the Brazos at his family's ranch with his brothers; hunting for dove, deer, hogs, and jack rabbits with his brother Ben; enjoying the view at Hubbard Creek Lake while listening to Classic Rock; cooking ramen noodles (the best according to his brother); driving around in his 2011 Silverado which he hoped to fix up and personalize someday; talking with his friends on Snapchat, Discord, and Instagram; swimming and hanging out at his brother's property on Lake Grapevine; camping; shooting his lever action rifle; watching The Walking Dead and Apocalypse Now; Eating pizza and wings from Pizza Heaven; cooking burgers and bratwurst with his family; and living the life of a true Texan teenage boy.
During the summer Sam enjoyed spending time with his family; he enjoyed floating down The Comal River with his dad and brothers; swimming in The Llano and The Guadalupe River; spending the day at Possum Kingdom Lake, his Dad would rent a pontoon boat and a innertube and take everyone out on the lake, he always had fun cliff jumping, being thrown off the innertube, and swimming.
When he was little his Dad would always be out of town working, but every time he got back his Dad would spend every possible minute with Sam, his brothers and sister, one of the things they did was going on drives, they would all pack into his Dad's pickup to look at the scenery or find new places; Sam's favorite place to go was Aledo, during the summer they would all go to the same snow cone stand then drive down the road to Bearcat Park, Sam's favorite game was "Monster", his Dad would chase all of them around the park trying to not get tagged. Also when he was little his Dad would take them to Dinosaur Park to swim, play, and look at the Dinosaur tracks, after which they would go to Chicken Express and get chicken, gravy, and Sam's favorite rolls.
Sam was a boy with many dreams. One of them was to one day purchase a 1977 TransAm with T-tops, but for now he settled for a 1982 Pontiac Firebird that he was fixing up with his brother.
He had also dreamed of canoeing down the Clear Fork to Eliasville.
His biggest dream was to live out in the country and be self-sufficient. His dream was about to become a reality, as his brother, Ben and him, purchased a percentage of land on the Clear Fork of the Brazos. Ben and Sam walked the land for 2 days, talking about how excited they were and deciding where to put new roads and corn feeders, but Sam was even more excited to put up a campsite along the river. The last time he was at the land, Ben and Him set up a trail cam and scattered corn, but they were too excited and crept upon the corn only an hour after the trail cam was put up, they saw no animals But they both enjoyed the thrill even though nothing was there. They had both planned to return the next morning to check the camera and continue walking the land.
Sam was preceded in death by his Grandad, Joe Bailey Brower; Grandpa Robert Allen Hicks;
Great Grandmother Corine Snow; Great Aunt Christine Snow; and Great Cousin James
Coppedge.
Sam is survived by his oldest brother, Robert J. Brower of Fort Worth Tx, and his older triplet brother and sister, Carolynn Brower of Austin, Tx, and Benjamin Brower of Southlake, Tx; his father, Robert C. Brower of Southlake, Tx; his mother Lisa A. Brower of Southlake, Tx; his Grandmother, Fannie Brower of Fort Worth, Tx; Grandma Patsy Ann Hicks of Southlake Tx; Aunt Lori Berger; Uncle John Brower of Tulsa, Ok; Uncle Joe Brower and his Wife Fufi of Graham, Tx; Uncle Bill Baber and his wife Becky of Wichita Falls, Tx ; Aunt Kay Baker and her husband Brandon, of Southlake, Tx; his cousins: Kai Berger, Lahna Berger, James Brower, Jack Brower, Stephen Brower, Karsten Baker, Christopher Crenshaw, Jason Baber, Byron Baber, Tye Baber, Katie Wise, and Frances Freitas; and many 2nd and 3rd cousins.
Sam is already deeply missed as family, but as a friend to all that he knew. May his legacy continue.
A visitation service will be held Tuesday, December 6th at 9am at the Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. He will be buried at the Eliasville Cemetery close to his Grandad Joe Bailey Brower.
