It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samuel Jordan Fisherkeller, 43, of Lexington, Kentucky, of natural causes in his home in the early morning hours of May 9th. Sam was born January 2, 1982 in Lexington Kentucky, the third son of Paul and Sandra (Sanders) Fisherkeller. A beloved son, brother, and uncle, Sam will be remembered by all who knew him as a funny, empathetic, and loving person.
Throughout Sam's life, he grounded himself in his love of all artistic endeavors; especially music, film, and fine arts. Sam could always be found listening to or creating music wherever he went.
Sam was extraordinarily generous with his love, his attention, and his care for others. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel heard and valued. His compassion ran deep, and he never hesitated to give of himself to those who needed him.
Sam is survived by his mother, Sandra Fisherkeller, his siblings Paul, and Joshua (Julia) Fisherkeller, and Elizabeth (William) McLaughlin. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Fisherkeller. A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 pm, May 23rd at Christ the King Cathedral in Lexington, KY.
In lieu of flowers please consider contributing to his GoFundMe for funeral expenses and care for his dog Benji whom he loved. https://gofund.me/f524ad08
