Sandra Edge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Craig Funeral Home on Jan. 6, 2026.
Sandy Edge, 70, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 28, 2025. She was the wife of William Edge, they shared 50 years together.
Sandy was born in St. Augustine, FL. She was the daughter of the late Beauford and Bernice Wimberly. Sandy graduated from St. Augustine High School in 1973. She owned and operated her own janitorial service for nearly 50 years.
Sandy is survived by her husband William Edge, her daughter Michelle Singlton (Lonnie), and her son William "Willie" Edge (Shelia), six grandsons; Levi Singleton, Austin Edge, Jake Edge, Brandon Edge, Chase Kling and Reese Kling, two great-granddaughters; Ava Edge and Emersyn Edge, her 11 year old dachshund Charlie, two sisters; Debbie Hoffman and Martha Parker of Thomasville, GA, and two brothers; Marshal Stewart of Thomasville, GA and Johnny Wimberly of Bainbridge, GA. Sandy enjoyed crafting from sewing all the way to flower arranging. She loved experimenting with new recipes for her family to try. Sandy loved her diet cokes and crossword puzzle lottery ticket. There was never a job too big or too small she wouldn't do. Sandy would tackle any kind of problem. If something needed to be done, she would get it done.
Sandy was an amazing wife, mother and friend. She loved her family beyond words. Sandy was known for her loving and giving heart. She was selfless and would help anyone anyway she could. Sandy never met a stranger and was the light of everyone's day.
Sandy's wish was to be cremated. Her Memorial Service will be held at Craig Funeral Home, 1475 Old Dixie Highway St. Augustine, FL 32084 on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Sandra Ann Edge, please visit our floral store.
