Sandra Jean Goble passed away on March 4 after a brief illness. Born in Cleveland in 1945 to Basil and Ruth Sosenko, she graduated from Copley High School in 1963. Years later, she would retire from Copley Middle School as the receptionist after many years of service. She often met with her former colleagues for luncheons at the Wolf Creek Winery up to the end. She loved her friends and family, particularly her cats. Sandra was also fond of Hallmark movies as well as Dateline NBC. To borrow a phrase, to know her was to love her.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Doug and younger brother William, she is survived by her brother Robert, children Keith (Noreen) Goble, Melissa (Robert) Wanner and Gregg. She is also survived by grandchildren Michael, Maeve, Riley, Joseph, Amanda and Brian. Sandra loved flowers but would prefer donations be made in her name to Maggie's Mission or any organization that helps our furry and feathered friends. Calling hours will be held this Tues. March 11 from 4-6 at Hummel Funeral Home located at 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, followed by a brief service at 6.
