Sandra L. Veenstra, peacefully went home to her Lord and Savior on February 11, 2022 with her loving children by her side; in St. Augustine Florida and was raised in Holland, Michigan.
Sandy was a fierce woman – holding fast to her strong faith, defending those she loved, unselfishly caring and giving, unconditionally loving of her children and grandchildren. After earning her degree in Interior Decorating, she obtained a Real Estate license where she combined both of those skills to much success. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, cultivating life long friendships, painting ceramics, crafting, coming over with a new piece to decorate your home, collecting art, playing card games, talking to you about her faith and God, as well as bragging about her grandchildren.
Sandy was blessed to share 54 years with her first love, Stan. Their life was filled with deep love, strong friendship, 3 children and traveling the world. She made it known the importance of not only GOD, but a life worth living to her family and friends.
She now serenely rests in the arms of her Lord and is reunited with her husband Stan, youngest son Derek and other family and friends that predeceased her.
We who are left to mourn this beautiful soul are, son Chris and wife Mindy, daughter Jennifer and husband David, grandchildren Kaylene, Carissa, Conner, Cassandra, Landon, Amy and Christian; as well as extended family and friends. She had a life well lived and will be deeply missed. We will continue to trust God's perfect Plan.
Celebration of life, which will be officiated by the Reverend Albert Linell will be held at Noon on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Craig's Funeral Home located at 1475 Old Dixie Highway, St. Augustine, FL 32084. Her interment follows directly after and is for family only as per her wishes.
