Sandra Ziman Obituary
Sandra was born on May 5th, 1951, in Boston, Massachusetts to Stanley and Charlotte Ziman, of blessed memory. She grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, sister to Marjorie Nelson of blessed memory and Roberta Barget.
Sandra earned her bachelor's in psychology from Tufts University and her master's in counseling psychology from Boston College. She devoted her life to education as a GED teacher, helping marginalized and disaffected students earn their GED diplomas. Sandra had a generous and giving heart and loved her children and grandchildren in every way she knew how: her beloved daughters Jaime (Roger) and Abby, and grandchildren Silvi, Sebastian, and Raphael. She loved her kids and grandkids above all. As we remember Sandra's legacy of love and family, she leaves an indelible impact on the lives of all she knew and loved. And for the gifts of Sandra's life, we are grateful. The gifts of spirit and the many beautiful and rich memories we share will live on for the generations and will abide in our hearts for eternity.
Funeral services were conducted by Rabbi Sayani on Friday August 29th at the Beth El Chapel, in Stamford, Ct. Sandy is now resting in peace lying next to her dear sister Marj, and beloved mother Charlotte.
May her memory be forever for a blessing.
