Sara Ramey Obituary
After attending The Indiana Academy in Muncie, Indiana and then graduating from East Noble High School in Kendallville, Sara went on to study Psychology and Neuroscience at Indiana University Bloomington. After graduating, Sara stayed home for several years to raise a family before finding a job at Angi (formerly Angie's List). Although the job she applied for was not the type she was expecting, Sara quickly discovered a talent for sales and went on to lead several successful sales teams before earning a Director position. While networking, leading, and coaching others to their own success was a passion of Sara's, her greatest passion and loves of her life were her children and family.
Sara thoroughly enjoyed cooking for her loved ones, vacationing and playing games with her family, laughing endlessly with her friends, and she displayed a generosity matched by few others. In her life, Sara made it a point to always be funny, spontaneous, and above all, nurturing. Sara will be dearly missed by countless friends and family.
Sara was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles "Chick" Nissen, and grandmother, Patricia "Pat" Nissen of Wawaka, Indiana. Sara is survived by her son, Lane Watkins; daughter, Taylor Watkins; mother, Polly Nissen; father, Gordon Ramey; sisters, Samantha, Megan, Caiti, and Mandy.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 1:00pm at Jessen & Keller Funeral Homes ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 11:00am until the funeral hour. Sara will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Indiana immediately following the service.
