Scott Andrew Altpeter was born July 23, 1972, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Walter and Mary Lou (Sayles) Altpeter. On September 18, 1993, Scott married the love of his life, Hollie Bogner. Most of his career was spent as a homebuilder. He was very good at his job and also loved what he did. Most recently, he worked at Front Line Services.
Scott’s passion was woodworking, carpentry, airbrushing, and creating things with his hands. His greatest joy came from time spent with family—especially his cherished grandchildren.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Hollie Altpeter of New Windsor; his son, Andrew Altpeter, and Andrew’s fiancé, Valerie Stephenson, of Davenport, Iowa; his mother, Mary Lou Altpeter of Danville, Iowa; his three adored grandchildren, Rowan, Aurora, and Belle Altpeter; his sister, Debbie (Mick) Shirey; honorary brothers, Wiley Holt, Phillip Sayles, and Shane Knaub; half-siblings, Dora (Terry) Robertson, Wayne Altpeter, Sam (Julie) Altpeter, and Chris Altpeter; and his faithful dog, Gator. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Altpeter, and his in-laws, Michael and Sandra Bogner.
