Sean A. Murphy

Sean A. Murphy, age 55 of Fairport Harbor, passed away following an illness at home with his family on August 17, 2024. Born Dec. 26, 1968, in Cleveland, to Russell A. and Susan (nee: Herbert) Murphy, he had been a resident of Fairport Harbor for 20 years. He was self-employed, working in the construction industry. Survivors include his wife Karen (nee: Leyden) Murphy of Fairport Harbor, whom he married Dec. 31, 2004; children Kelsey & Sean R. Murphy of Fairport Harbor; mother Susan (John) Ziemak of Kirtland; siblings Russell Murphy and Lori Murphy of Fairport Harbor. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial gathering will take place from 2-8pm on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the VFW Post 774 540 New Street, Fairport Harbor. Cremation services entrusted to the Potti & Marc F.
