Seyli was born in Havana Cuba on May 25, 1975, under a rare moon eclipse called the Blood Moon. What the world didn't know was that a special woman was also being born as well. Seyli was just a child when she and her family left Cuba in 1980 during the Mariel, which was a mass emigration of Cubans to the United States that resulted in nearly 125,000 Cuban immigrants arriving in Florida. She and her family found their way to Louisiana, where they settled in the city of Kenner. Seyli attended middle school at Adams Middle School and went on to Bonnabel High School and attended Delgado community college. Ever since a young woman, Seyli has always been a dedicated friend, loving daughter, sister, and niece.
Seyli's life hasn't always been easy, she was met with many obstacles, she learned to go over them, under them and sometimes she would just go through them, she never allowed any obstacle to stop her, especially if she truly believed in the cause.
Seyli met her husband Allan Molina on February 12, 2000, since then, they have been inseparable. They married on March 8, 2001, even though Seyli never had any biological children, she raised Allan's son Alexander as her very own. Seyli went on to become a Louisiana statewide appointed notary, who scored top 10 in her class, she was a business owner, a property and casualty insurance agent as well a commercial line insurance agent, she was also a child's advocate through CASA, Seyli really loved doing what she did.
In 2010, Seyli started a Facebook page out of boredom just to be able to connect with some of her old high school friends, which she named Kenner Bruh.
She later changed the name to We Are Kenner Bruh, because it started to pick up so much traction, it had become a page more than just connecting with old high school friends. It had become a page where the whole community of Kenner would come together and help each other in many ways, Seyli used the platform to become community activists and kept the elected Kenner officials true to their words; it has grown to 23k + members.
Seyli was the type of person who would give the shirt off her back to a stranger. She always had this way about her, that made you feel safe around her. She never would look down upon anyone, she always saw the best in people. When people would count you out, she would count you in. She was the type of person who wanted everyone to win. She was the sunshine on a cloudy day. Some would even say she was an angel on earth.
In December 2020 Seyli was elected president of the University City Civic Association, unfortunately in early January 2021, Seyli was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, and her dreams to do great things in this new position came to a quick end. The warrior spirit of Seyli and her desire to serve her community did not give the cancer diagnoses the power over her life, she still continued to serve her community to the best of her ability, even though she was very weak from undergoing chemo, radiation and immunotherapy.
Seyli was a graceful warrior and fought an immensely brave and very painful battle. Seyli passed on January 4, 2025. She showed incredible strength during her illness and will always be an inspiration to her family, friends, and the Kenner city community. Seyli was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, and amazing friend, a tireless leader, and a devoted mother to everyone she knew.
She will be forever missed by her husband Allan Molina, and her entire extended family and friends. Her strength and kindness knew no limits, and she treated strangers that she just met as friends.
We have lost one of Kenner's most involved and supportive residents and a friend to us all, but with all of our memories of her goodness and time with us, that beautiful smile that would light up the room, will never be forgotten.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Memorial Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, LA on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.

The Fruit Of The Spirit
Galatians 5:22-26
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
