Sharon Rachel Mignone, 68, of Phenix City, AL passed away Friday morning, November 28, 2025, at Piedmont Hospital Midtown in Columbus, GA
Mrs. Mignone was born on May 10, 1957, in Lumberton, NC, daughter of the late Bruce Martin and Patricia Suriles Martin. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was committed to her family and deeply loved spending time with all her grandchildren. In her past, she enjoyed working as a wedding planner and advisor to many people planning their future. She was blessed with the gift of art coloring and enjoyed sharing her many drawings. She was a Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven John Mignone, two sisters, Melinda and Deborah, and a grandson, Twamane Holland.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, Anthony Mignone; son, Joseph Mignone (Kadie); brother, Matthew Martin; four grandchildren, Ciarra Harrington (Aaron), Katelin Mignone, Allan Miller (Theresa), and Liam Mignone; two precious great grandchildren, Sianni Mignone, and Ghile-mear “Gilly” Apollo Bending, and several other extended loving family members and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, December 6, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm EST at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City. A Service of Remembrance to celebrate Sharon’s life will follow at 6:00 pm EST at the home of Sharon and Anthony Mignone 1732 Tradition Way Phenix City, AL 36867 according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City.
