Sharron Florczak Obituary
Sharron Rae Florczak passed away peacefully August 25, 2024 in Bloomingon, MN. She was born October 6, 1940 in Peoria, IL to William and Iverne Harkless.
Sharron was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Dennis Florczak. They were married May 25, 1963 after meeting at the American Academy of Art. Sharron and Bob were both successful commercial artists. Sharron was a member of the Northbrook Days Committee, and Northbrook Civic, and very involved with community celebrations.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Florczak Hansen; granddaughters, Casey Paramski, Ashley (Rick) Freeman, Megan (Jim Korch) Hansen, and Taylor Smith (Joel Santiago); great grandchildren, Brady, Nolan, and Macy Smith, Landon and Nora Paramski, Harvey Freeman, and Alayna Santiago; sisters, Linda Beck and Susan Harkless; nieces and nephews, Bill and Rick Malmgren, and Vanessa (Jason) Abbott; and dear friend Bernard Margolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Iverne; and sister, Bonnie Malmgren.
Graveside services will be held at 11am Saturday September 14 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lee Road, Northbrook.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Northbrook Civic Foundation, P.O. Box 232, Northbrook, IL 60065-0232
