Sharron Elizabeth Williamson McDaniel, 69, of Clarksville, Florida, passed away on August 18, 2025. Born July 15, 1956, in Panama City, Florida, to Mary Etta and Earl Williamson, Sharron grew up in Apalachicola, where she formed lifelong friendships that became more like family. In April of 1976, she married David McDaniel. Together, they shared 49 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, victories, and challenges. Through it all, they showed what true commitment looks like-loving each other through every high and low and setting an enduring example for their family. Sharron and David raised two children, Jessica (Bo) Stokes and Chuck (Elisabeth) McDaniel. Sharron supported David throughout his 20-year career in the United States Air Force, during which the family lived in Louisiana, Utah, Japan, England, and Florida. No matter where they were stationed, Sharron made a home filled with love, good food, and open arms. Sharron was a natural caregiver. She ran a home daycare during her children's younger years so she could be there for every activity and milestone. She cared not only for her family but also for elderly friends, children of friends, and anyone who needed an extra measure of kindness. Acts of service were her love language, and she showed her devotion through her time, her talents, and her unwavering presence. A gifted cook, Sharron could make any dish taste extraordinary-her fried chicken, shrimp, roasts, and even homemade egg rolls were legendary. She also loved crafting and sewing, creating handmade gifts that will be cherished by many for years to come. There truly wasn't anything she couldn't do. She is survived by her husband, David McDaniel; her daughter, Jessica (Bo) Stokes; her son, Chuck (Elisabeth) McDaniel; grandchildren Hailey Sanders (Ben), Bailey Stokes (Max Cooper), and Brycen Stokes; and her great-granddaughters, Paislee and Payton Sanders. She also leaves behind her siblings Jimmy Williamson, Mike Williamson, Mary Jean Johnson, John Earl Williamson, and J.R. Williamson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved like brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Etta and Earl Williamson, Elsie and Buford McDaniel; her brother, Jack Williamson; and her sisters, Margaret Kitts and Sandra Dronette. Sharron loved fiercely and unconditionally. She was quick to say "I love you more," and she meant it every single time. She gave of herself in countless ways-through meals, quilts, childcare, advice, or simply a listening ear. She was tender and loving but never afraid to speak her mind when something needed to be said. Above all, she was deeply loved, and she will be profoundly missed. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bevis Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida. A viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, at 1:00 p.m. CST, followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. CST at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6525 Lake Drive, Callaway, Florida.
