Shawn Kirby Spinale, age 42, of

To know Shawn was to love Shawn. He had a heart overflowing with love for the Lord and was passionate about spreading the word of God to others. Even through all of Shawn's battles, he remained grateful to God for all his blessings. His unwavering commitment to his faith was a testament to his strength, shaped in part by his time and leadership at Adult & Teen Challenge and TCMI. After graduating he even went on to help start a new church in Bakersfield, CA. Because of Shawn's great love for the Lord, his love for his son Noah was endless and unconditional. Shawn was also very passionate about fishing which he excelled at, winning deep sea fishing tournaments and several trophies when he was just a teen. He especially enjoyed catching snapper and tuna with his dad, Uncle Scott, and Uncle Tim. His mantra was, "You're born, you fish, you die, that's it." He also enjoyed hunting, was an avid gamer and was ranked as one of the top players on Call of Duty. He was a relentless prankster, always showcasing his incredible sense of humor. He was unexpectedly kindhearted, especially for his superhuman strength and size. Shawn wholeheartedly loved people and will be terribly missed by everyone who knew him. Again, to know Shawn, was to love Shawn.
