Sheilia Ann (Mouser) Wimbish, 78, a lifelong resident of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2025.
Born on November 14, 1946, to the late Robert Mouser and Esther (Renn) Pfeiffer, Sheilia was also preceded in death by her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Mouser and Malinda Bagshaw. She attended both St. Mary's Catholic School and St. Joseph Hill Catholic School. Her professional journey led her to a commendable career at Colgate Palmolive, from which she eventually retired, leaving behind a career full of dedication and hard work.
Sheilia is remembered fondly by her daughter, Alisa Wimbish, who carries forward the love and lessons imparted by her mother. In addition, Sheilia leaves behind two estranged daughters; siblings, Bonnie Botorff and Tina Martin, who hold cherished memories of their time together; best friend, Cindy Pimpleton; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
As a grandmother, Sheilia found joy in her grandchildren: Brandon (Aubrey), Adam, April McGaren, Isaiah Scott, and Jonah Wimbish. Each grandchild was a source of pride and love for her, along with her great-grandchild, Felix McGaren.
In accordance with her wishes, Sheilia will be cremated, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. A celebration of her life will be announced in the coming weeks.
