Albion, New York, Shelly's zest for life and her unwavering spirit left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Shelly was the cherished daughter of the late Charles Delano and is survived by her loving siblings, Elizabeth Delano and Charles Delano Jr. Her journey through life was shared with her late husbands, Kenneth Ryan and Edward Mitchell, with whom she built a legacy of love and family. She will be forever remembered by her devoted daughter Jennifer John and her son Michael Ryan, who will carry forward her teachings and warmth. Shelly's role as a grandmother was one she embraced with every fiber of her being, and her grandchildren, Linzey Brown, Kasi Merryman, Rory Shaw, Jade Mcgowne, and Devon John, will continue to flourish under the canopy of her love and guidance.
Shelly dedicated many years of her life to caring for others in her role as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a profession that perfectly encapsulated her innate desire to help and nurture. Her colleagues and patients alike were touched by her compassion and dedication, often going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure comfort and care. Her involvement in various associations within her field demonstrated her commitment not only to her profession but also to the betterment of her community.
