September 14, 1950 ~ July 10, 2024
Sherry R. Mashburn, 73, Marion, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. She was born in Ohio, on Thursday, September 14, 1950, to Charles and Betty (Case) Baker. She married Gary Mashburn, who preceded her.
Sherry graduated from Marion High School worked at Sonoco Products until she retired in 2009. She loved camping, playing card games, and most importantly, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Nicole Hodson, James Hodson, Jennifer Swafford; brother, Frank Baker; grandchildren, Jordan (Candace) Hodson, Haley (Logan) Storey, Rilynn Swafford; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Mashburn; and sister, Karen Montgomery.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Cancer Services of Grant County Tower Suites 305 S. Norton Ave., Marion, IN 46952.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 N. Main St., Gas City, IN.
