Sherry L. Muller

Sherry L. Muller, 86, of Evansville, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the Heritage Center with her family by her side.
Sherry was born on August 30, 1937 in Evansville to the late Delmar and Rosalie (Hammer) Becker. She was a 1955 graduate of Central High School; a devoted and loving wife and mother and a homemaker. She also worked at Old National Bank in the Consumer Credit Department for ten years. Sherry was raised in and was an active member of North Park, later St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Eventually she met the love of her life, Ed Muller, and they were married in and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They later became member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, where she was a devoted and faithful member. Sherry enjoyed art, drawing and oil painting.
Surviving Sherry is her husband of 58 years, Edward Muller; her children and their spouses, Crystal and Tom Elderkin and Aaron and Gina Muller; her sister, Suzette (Steve) Fritz; grandchildren, Jacob and Christina Muller, Seth Elderkin and Hailee (Jeremy) Belli, as well as two great grandchildren, Hadlee and Aspen Elderkin, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Becker and an infant sister, Sylvia Becker.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Corpus Christi Church, Rev. Bill Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 9:30 AM until service time on Friday at Corpus Christi Church, 5528 Hogue Road.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the wonderful CNAs, QNAs, nurses and ancillary staff of the Heritage Center for their compassionate loving care of mom during her time with them.
