Sherry Rochette

Sherry Bragg Rochette of Coventry passed away peacefully at home on June 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Sherry grew up in South Windsor and Coventry. Graduating from Coventry High School, Sherry continued her culinary arts education, receiving her associates degree from Manchester Community College. After, Sherry took a step back to pursue a career of modeling and sculpting. She had many works of art featured in galleries in New York and Boston. Sherry loved to garden and decorate her home. She spent countless moments with her siblings sharing her vast love and knowledge. She was so welcoming to all. With such an infectious smile Sherry could make anyone smile, even on their worst day. Sherry was a very kind, loving daughter, sister, mother, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all.
She is survived by father, Delton Bragg of Vernon, her mother, Carol (Clark) Bragg of Manchester, her sons, James and Ward, her sister, Susan Tomlinson of Ellington, her brothers, Delton Bragg, and Josh Benson of Coventry, Daniel Bragg of Vernon, Robert Benson of Manchester, sisters Tiffany McNee, and Lillie Benson of Windham, and April Bragg of Norwich. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, 10 a.m., at Center Cemetery, 993 Main St., South Windsor. There are no calling hours. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Sherry's memory to a charity of the donor's choice. Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home in South Windsor has care of the arrangements.
