Sherry Lynn Silwanowicz, formerly known as Sherry Ward, was born on May 20, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan. She passed away  n August 5, 2025, in Clinton Township, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of love and care that touched the lives of many.

Sherry was a vibrant soul whose passions included cooking, gardening, golfing, crafting, and canning. Her love for these activities was evident in her nurturing personality, as she dedicated herself to caring for her family and friends. Sherry was the epitome of a caretaker, always ensuring that those around her felt loved and valued. Among her greatest sources of joy was her grandson, John Robert Silwanowicz, who held a special place in her heart.

Sherry is survived by her husband, David Silwanowicz; her son, David Robert Silwanowicz, and his wife Kirsten and her grandson, John Robert Silwanowicz, her mother, Margaret Ward; and her siblings: Michael Ward (Jean), Colleen Cinder (Rick), and Neil Ward (Deanne). She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember her warmth and kindness.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ward.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her and will be remembered for her generous spirit and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
