Born May 11, 1942, in Blount County Alabama. Shirley is the daughter of Inez (Chambers) Martin and stepfather, Kelly Martin. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and good friend to many. Most days she could be found in her backyard caring for wildlife, tending her flowers or on her porch swing quietly enjoying all the sounds of God's creatures. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Liberty where she worshiped and served for many years.
Shirley is proceeded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Charles Franklin Ethridge of Fairfield Alabama.
She is survived by daughters Doe Onna Bellows and husband Kirk of Temple and Tabitha Dyson and husband Troy of Lumberton. She is survived by grandchildren Rachel (Bellows) Richmeier and husband Troy, Jonathan Bellows, Lydia Bellows, Audrey (Bellows) Anderson and husband Shawn, and Sarah Lopez. She is survived by great grandchildren Sage and Mia Anderson, Weston Richmeier, and Leighton Jane Storey.
Shirley leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, courage, and determination that will not be forgotten.
Shirely will be laid to rest at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery 11463 TX- 195 Killeen, TX 76542.
