My most sincere condolences to the Luke family. Shirley was a dear friend and will be greatly missed. Shirley and I had many conversations about Jesus. She always knew a Bible quote that could be applied to any situation. Shirley was a great conversationalist, always had a smile on her face and was always happy. I know I could call Shirley at any time of the day or night or stop by her home and I would always be welcomed. I will miss our time shared in fellowship, our conversations that could be just about anything. We both loved to talk about cooking and recipes, life in general, our lives and the world. Shirley loved her family. She was so excited that she had attended her granddaughter`s wedding. She loved all her grandchildren immensely and talked about them often. She loved her husband Skip and would often talk of their lives together. She loved her son Johnny and his wife Kristie. She spoke of how proud she was of her son and how hard he always worked.
One thing I know about Shirley for sure is she loved Our Lord with all her heart and soul. I know Shirley is now gently resting in the arms of Our Lord. Rest peacefully Shirley until we meet again. I will miss you greatly but I know you are where you wanted to be the most with Our Lord. God bless you, Shirley and the entire Luke family. With deepest condolences, Angel.
