Shirley Kirk Moody, age 86, of Talking Rock, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Morning Pointe of Calhoun. She was born December 11, 1937 to Coleman and Ollie Mullinax in Tate, Georgia.
Shirley is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Rena Kirk of Vernon, Alabama, Ricky and Sheila Kirk of Jasper, Scott and Cindy Kirk of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Wesley Kirk, Seth and Pamela Kirk, Erika and Tommy Jones, Jodi and Zach Thomas; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several other family members and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman and Ollie Mullinax.
A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024 in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 12:00 noon until 2:30 p.m.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in remembrance of Shirley.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
