Shirley Ann Scrivner, 83, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born December 11, 1940, in Jamestown, Missouri, the daughter of Ralph Edward and E. Lorene (Kuhn) Muri.
Shirley was a 1958 graduate of Jamestown High School.
She was united in marriage on August 18, 1972, in Jamestown to James C. “Jim” Scrivner who survives at the home.
Shirley worked for over 30 years with General Motors in their financing department. She also worked for Putnam Chevrolet in California and volunteered with the Jefferson City Hospice House and Meals-On-Wheels.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville and was a lifetime member of the Missouri Bluebird Society. Shirley enjoyed photography and received several awards for her photographs, traveling with her husband, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Scrivner, Russellville; one son, Mitch (DeAnn) Strother, Jamestown; two granddaughters, Mackenzie (Adam) Lohse, Mickayla (Klay) Holliday; three great grandchildren, Sawyer Holliday, Weston Lohse, Callie Holliday; four sibling, Wayne (Beryl) Muri, Jamestown; Glenda Sells, Prairie Home; Sandra (Dwayne) Bolin, Arkansas; Ed (Stephanie) Muri, Jamestown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Sells.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Russellville.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville with Pastor Ed Merckel officiating.
Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church.
