Shirley Stults peacefully departed from this life on April 16, 2025, at her home in Cypress Inn, TN, at the age of 87 years. Born on December 10, 1937, in Wayne County, TN, to the late Willie Daniel and Bertha Thompson Daniel.Shirley's warmth and generosity touched the lives of many.
On April 6, 1958, she united in marriage with Aaron Stults, creating a family filled with love and cherished memories. She was member of Scotts Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and attended Church at Stateline Church, Shirley's faith was a guiding light throughout her life.
She had a passion for gardening, flowering, and enjoyed sewing, traveling, and creating lasting memories with her grandchildren. Together with her husband Aaron, she dedicated many years to running local grocery stores, Stults Bi-Rite and Stults Shopezy, serving their community with dedication and care.
Shirley's spirit will live on through the love she gave and the memories she created. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Aaron Stults; son, Greg Stults and wife Mary Ann; three grandchildren: Justin Dwayne Stults, Tyler Gregory Stults and wife Hope; and Alyssa Marigrace Stults; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two sons, Randel Paul Stults and Michael Dwayne Stults; four siblings: James Daniel, "Penny" Daniel and wife Ruth, Bernice Simmons and husband Herbert, and Alfred Daniel and wife Lizzie.
