Stephen Layne Hayman, 65, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Pocomoke City, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at his home.Born January 15, 1957, in Pocomoke City, he was the son of the late James and Rosa Mae (Gladden) Hayman.
Stephen graduated from Pocomoke High School and received his undergraduate degree in mathematics from Johns Hopkins University. After working for Pinellas County, FL for many years, Stephen began working for himself in the internet technology field.He was an avid coin collector.
Survivors include two brothers, James Hayman and his, wife Lois Ann, of Berlin, MD and John Hayman of Columbia, MD; an aunt, Ruth Gladden of DE; and three cousins, Robert Hayman of Parkville, MD, Paige Bailey of Hopeton, VA and Linda Grady and her husband Bill of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Douglas.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in First Baptist Cemetery, Pocomoke City.Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A. 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21851. Please visit www.hollowayfh.com to express condolences to the family.
