Stephen Peter Kalt

KALT, Stephen Peter - Age 80, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025. Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.

Stephen was born November 13, 1944 in Detroit, the son of Stephen Henry and Mary Veronica (Bessley) Kalt. He was a 1963 graduate of Berkley High School in Berkley, MI. He married Rosemary T. Herrgott August 29, 1964 in Berkley. He had resided in the Fenton area since 1998 coming from Clinton Township. Stephen was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired in 2004 from Johnson Control as a Pipefitter after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local #636. He was a member of A.A.R.L. (Ham Operators). He enjoyed golfing, bowling, snowmobiling and spending time with his family in the Upper Peninsula.

Surviving are: his wife of 60 years, Rosemary; daughter, Stephanie Lynn Dillon of Superior Township; grandson, Cade Steven Dillon of Superior Township; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Mary Kalt; 3 infant children;and brother and sister-in-law, John and Cathleen Kalt. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
