Stephen E. Morin, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 9, 2024. Born in Meriden, CT, on December 13, 1985, he was the beloved son of Anna Michalak. Stephen spent most of his life in Wallingford, where he graduated from Wilcox Technical School. He was employed by All-Pro HVAC of Beacon Falls and occasionally attended Grace Fellowship Church.
Stephen was a passionate and active man who found joy in the things he loved. He was deeply involved in jujitsu, earning belts and proudly teaching his son, John. As a child, he was an avid BMX racer, achieving victories at Falcon Field and other local tracks. He also had a love for motorcycles, which reflected his adventurous spirit.
Stephen is survived by his mother, Anna Michalak, and his father, Charles Michalak; his children, Aubree Morin and John Morin; his sister, Amy Morin; his brother, Derek Gonzalez; and his niece and nephews, Haylee Gonzalez, Derek, and Troy. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Catherine Dennis.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, December 21st, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden, CT. A service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
