Sterling Osborne

Sterling Osborne age 80, of the Clifton Fork section of Raven, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital.
He was born December 1, 1941, in Richlands, Virginia, and was the son of the late Willard Osborne and Beulah Stilwell Osborne. He had worked many years in the coal mines for Alfred Whited Coal Company and was a lifetime resident of the area.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Lois Keen Osborne; brothers, Roger Osborne, Danny Osborne; sisters, Annie Miller, and Betty Smith.

The funeral service for Sterling Osborne will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with Rev. Joe Horn officiating. Interment will follow at the Counts Family Cemetery on Osborne Mountain near Raven, Virginia Pallbearers will be John Rasnake, Larry Joe Keen, Austin Keen, Lee Burke, Gary Smith, Gary Keen. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until the time of service.
