Steve Fischer, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away on December 5, 2024, at St. Lukes Carbon Campus in Lehighton, PA. Born on November 6, 1956, a son to John and Patricia (Smith) Fischer in Edison, NJ, Steve dedicated over 30 years of his life serving his community as a revered letter carrier for the USPS in the Allentown area.
Loved profoundly by his family, Steve leaves behind his cherished wife, Debbie (Petzel) Fischer; his daughter, Nicole Meader, and son-in-law, Daniel, of Jim Thorpe. His son, Cody Fischer and daughter-in-law, Kailey, of Albrightsville; and His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Laya, Lexi, Luke, and Autumn. His caring siblings, brother Robert Fischer and sister-in-law, Kimberly of Somerset, NJ, and sister, Patty Sampogna of South Amboy, NJ, also survive him. Steve was predeceased by his brother Johnny.
Remembered as loving, kind, and thoughtful, Steve's memory will linger in the hearts of those he touched forever. His benevolent spirit and unwavering dedication to his family and friends will be deeply missed.
Services will be held Thursday December 12, 2024 in the David J. Stianche Funeral Home 123 Center St. Jim Thorpe, PA 18229, at 2pm. Calling hours 12pm until the time of the services on Thursday. Interment will be private.
