Steven M. Bohnel of Doylestown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. He was 56.
Born in Doylestown, PA, Steven was a lifelong area resident of Buckingham and Doylestown.
He was formerly employed as a sales associate for many years in the retail industry. Steven was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, enjoyed the Rolling Stones and classic rock music, and supported his children and liked being active with softball, baseball, and other activities during their childhood years.
He struggled with alcoholism throughout much of his life. But more importantly, he cared deeply about others - most notably his family and those less fortunate than himself.
He was the devoted father of Steven M. Bohnel Jr., Nataline Kolbe and Corinne Bohnel, and the mother of his children, Nicole Maragia; beloved son of William and Sophie (Rachwal) Bohnel; dear brother of Bill Bohnel; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.
Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Livengrin Foundation (Building Recovery Together), 4833 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 or www.livengrin.org would be appreciated.
