CUMBERLAND, RI – Steven G. Gray, 62, of Cumberland, RI, formerly of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the devoted husband of Annette G. (Labrie) Gray.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on June 5, 1962, Steve was the beloved son of the late Glen M. Gray and Carolyn (Tucker) Gray. He was raised in South Attleboro and was a proud member of the Attleboro High School Class of 1980.
For nearly three decades, Steve worked as a supervisor at Garelick Farms, where he was known for his strong work ethic and easygoing nature. He later continued his career at New England Ice Cream as an inventory specialist, forming close bonds with his coworkers and making lasting impressions wherever he went.
A lifelong music lover, Steve was an enthusiastic Van Halen fan and a passionate supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs. Above all, he was a family man through and through-his happiest moments were spent surrounded by those he loved, especially his grandchildren, who lit up his world.
In addition to his loving wife, Annette, Steve is survived by his children: Meghan Serabian and her husband Ben of North Smithfield, RI; Erin Hallenbeck and her husband Jimmy of Cumberland, RI; and Ryan Grady and his wife Mandy of Temple, TX. He leaves behind his treasured grandchildren: Kali Serabian, Paige Hallenbeck, Ryleigh Hallenbeck, Charlotte Hallenbeck, and Bellamy Gray.
He is also survived by his siblings: Douglas Gray and his wife Stephanie of Myrtle Beach, SC; and Lori Hill and her husband Dr. Andrew Hill of New Zealand; as well as many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Steve was predeceased by his granddaughter, Poppy Gray, and his brothers, Clarence Gray and Milton Gray.
In keeping with his wishes, services will be held privately for family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Sperry-McHoul-Pichi Funeral Home in North Attleboro, MA.

Hard working leader, team player, truly a driving force for many years. I am sure you had these same qualities in all aspects of life. Was glad to have had you as a supervisor. Rest easy man.

Steve was one of the nicest, wholesome, genuine men I have had the pleasure of meeting, working, and becoming friends with. Our time at NEICC was too short but our time together was always full of laughs and jokes. We will miss you friend. Go Chiefs.-Tommy Murphy
