Steven "Trent" Jorgensen, 25, of Hooper passed away on February 25, 2022, following a valiant battle with cancer. Trent was born in Ogden on August 24, 1996, the son of John S. Jorgensen and Lisa M. Burch Stucki.
As a student, he attended Hooper Elementary School, Rocky Mtn. Jr. High, Fremont High School and graduated from Kanab High School.
Trent was a lifelong and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During his youth, he enjoyed participating in the Boy Scouts of America program and took great pride in being awarded the Eagle Scout distinction.
Trent worked as a correctional officer for MTC in Boise Idaho.
Throughout his life, Trent loved to learn as much as he could about everything, especially football and sports. He also truly enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking. To best describe Trent, it should be said that he was always on the GO and never wanted to "sit," he loved going on shopping adventures, having drinks at Dutch Bro's, gaming, always wanting to party and be social. Trent truly relished spending time with his family and friends, and especially his chocolate lab Madi.
He is survived by his mother Lisa M. Stucki and stepfather Wynn Stucki of Hooper, his father John Jorgensen, his brothers Lucas Jorgensen of Hooper and Ethan Jorgensen of Tremonton, his sisters Jill Walker, Jaime Hancock, and Jennifer Fowers, his grandparents Dean and Elaine Burch and Grandma Pat. Trent was preceded in death by his brother Jerimiah and sister Jessica, and his grandpa Jorgensen.
A special thanks to Natalie and Annette from Applegate Home and Health Hospice, G'ma Pat, aunts, cousins, and friends Bri, Natalie, and Jordan.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday March 4, 2022, at the West Haven Cemetery, 1500 South 2350 West, West Haven, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the graveside services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
