Steven Gray Pettit, 72 of Statesville, died Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House.
He was born in Forsyth County on October 5, 1951, to the late Floyd Pettit and Colala Reavis Pettit.
Steve retired from the Jeep dealership where he worked as a mechanic. He loved working on old cars, especially Renaults and the old AMC vehicles, jeeps and almost any car.
Those left to cherish his memory include three sons, Justin Pettit (Marissa), Aaron Pettit (Pat), Clinton Pettit (Tabby), four grandchildren, Victoria Sprinkle, Nevaeh Pettit, Landon Pettit, Brynlee Pettit, and a brother, Floyd Pettit, Jr., (Amy).
No formal services will be held.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
