Steven Smelser Obituary

He moved to Connecticut in 1962 where he met his wife, Virginia Church.
They were married September 18th, 1965 and recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.
Steven joined Plastic Wire & Cable in Jewett City, CT in 1962 and was employed there until its closing in 1995. He & Virginia then moved to Arizona where he took on the role of Plant Manager for Triangle Wire & Cable until 1999 when he retired. In 2002, he moved back to CT to be with family.
He is survived by: two sons, Steven (Maria) of Colchester, CT, Brad (Holly) of Lisbon, five grandchildren, Kira, Catherine (Daniel), Alyssa, Alexis, and Trent Smelser, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Ames Cemetery in Lisbon on Friday November 3, 2023 at 11am.
