Susan Kay Carlson

Susan Kay Carlson, 69, of Port Clinton, OH and formerly of Logansport, IN passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at her home. She was born November 16, 1953 in Logansport, IN the daughter of Wayne and Donna (Grandstaff) Piercy. She married John L. Carlson on December 29, 1973 and he survives. Susan was a clerk for Ottawa County Regional Planning, retiring in 2013. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH.
Surviving are her husband: John; daughter: Heather (Robert) Snyder of North Ridgeville, OH; son: Derek (Irma) Carlson of Plainfield, IN; grandchildren: Paige Snyder, Piper Snyder, Kaylei Carlson, Landen Warren, Ava Carlson, Ashden Warren, Rory Carlson, Sawyer Carlson; sisters: Janice Emmons of Logansport, IN and Sheila Piercy of Logansport, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson: Riley Carlson; sisters: Joyce Rose and Sherry Piercy.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Rd. Logansport, IN 44947 with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville, IN. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
