She was a 1995 graduate of Fern Creek High School, received her Bachelor of Science degree from U of L in 1999 and spent most of her career working in the medical field.
She had a vibrant personality, quick wit and could always find a way to make you laugh. She loved her children, family and friends dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Michael Mattingly; and special aunt, Margaret Weckman.
She is survived by her mother, Nina Catherine Spivey Mattingly; son, Dylan Thomas Gregory; daughter, Madelyn Elizabeth McKern; brother, John Michael Mattingly; other loving family members and friends.
There will be a memorial visitation at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home 3800 Bardstown Road with a memorial service to begin at 2 p.m.
Cremation was chosen.
Memorial gifts may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.

We went to high school together at Fern Creek High School. Class of 1995. It's been 29 years, almost 30(6 months will be 30 years), I just can't believe she's gone. 47 years old is to young. I just turned 48 in October 17th. I'm going to miss you my friend may you walk the streets of gold now with your dad. I'll see you up there when it's my time to go. My dad is waiting for me too. He's been there for 39 years so far. We'll miss you down here but we know you're in a better place. RIP

Spending time in high school around her. May not have been close but we were aware of each other. I hate to hear that she passed away at such a young age. May she walk with the lord now in heaven.
