Susan Roberts

Susan K. Roberts age 61 of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025.
She was born July 5, 1964 in Wabash, Indiana., to the Fred Eugene and Ethel Marie Shepherd.
She was married to Timothy L. "Uncle Fish" Roberts Sr., he preceded her in death on May 21, 2023.
Susan is survived by her mother, Ethel M. Shepherd of Scottsdale, Az., son, Timothy (Michelle) Roberts Jr. of Bucyrus, Oh., her grandson, Braxton Nickler, her sisters, Shelly Shepherd of San Diego, Ca., Sonya Ricketts of Phoenix, Az., niece, Cora Beth Smith of Phoenix, Az., great nephews, Dominique King of Phoenix, Az., Jaxon Corbella of Phoenix, Az., brother-in-law, Mike Roberts and sister-in-law, Dee Dee Roberts.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Fred Eugene Ricketts and her husband, Timothy L. Roberts Sr.
A Tribute to our Sister
I imagine my sister Susan today, standing without her walker, breathing without an oxygen tube, enjoying something delicious to eat without taking her glucose levels, feeling her heart beating in heavenly rhythms without skipping a beat perhaps even standing in a heavenly kitchen looking through a sun-filled window as she prepares to welcome her beloved Tim who has been patiently waiting for her arrival
They watch us through heavenly windows as we cling to this earthly life.. as we think this is the 'good life ' as we weep their sudden loss from our lives as we feel the sting and loss of separation
Susan left us early, just before first light on Saturday morning in my holy imagination I witness her today standing in this light, at a window where love pours in, where hope means that 'to be absent in this earthly body, means presence in a realm that I am only able to write about, see or feel in short expressions of transcendence, but someday will know for myself in full expansion.'
I witness Susan's light in this art work by Kaoru Yamada, as she flows freely uninhibited by disease, preparing a feast today where love is the centerpiece, the table and the banquet....
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 2 PM at The Bucyrus Freewill Baptist Church (1676 Hopley Ave, Bucyrus, Ohio 44820) with Pastors Lyle Arnet and Danny Dickerson officiating,
