Tad M. Simpson, 60, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 at his home in Ottawa.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Hagi & Schultz Funeral Home, Streator with Chaplin Dave Van Laar officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the services. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Tad was born April 4, 1965 in Streator, a son of Theodore “Ted” J. and Suzette (Miller) Simpson. He married Rebecca “Becky” LeBeau on September 26, 1993 in Bloomington.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Becky; three children, Bradley (Ashley) Young of Lafayette, IN, Bethany (Caleb) Massey of Marseilles, and Torri (Nathan) Savoie of Taylorville; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Michael, Spencer, Anna, Zofia, Grayson, Charlee, and Violet; and three great granddaughters, Daleyza, Amaya, and Liliana. Also surviving are his parents, Ted and Suzette Simpson of Streator; a brother, Jeffrey (Roberta) Simpson of Streator; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Terri Horton; and a brother, T. Kirk Simpson.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s’s.
