Tammy Lou (Simpson) Caciola, 63 of Endicott, passed away peacefully on Monday January 2, 2023 surrounded by her family.
She was predeceased by her parents Gerald R. Simpson, Sr and Phyllis (Wade) Simpson. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years Leonard J. Caciola of Endicott; daughter and son-in-law Alicia (Max) Felice; grandson Adam Felice; granddaughter Kara Felice of all of Illonois; brother and sister-in-law Gerald R. (Lori) Simpson, Jr of Endicott; niece Lindsay (Sammy) Mancini; great-nephew Henry Richard Mancini of Owego; nephews Ryan T. Simpson and Troy J. (Crystal) Simpson, all of Endicott; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce (Wayne) Stickles; her longtime dear friend Tina Bucinell; also several cousins.
Tammy graduated from Newark Valley High School in 1977 and immediately began working at the Bank of New York as a key punch operator and later became a teller for KeyBank with 22 years of service. Tammy loved the outdoors, camping and cross-country skiing, Christmas, snowmen and her Saturday drives, she loved her little country home, as well as her many cats.
Tammy fought a tough and courageous battle against diabetes for 53 years, never giving in and never giving up. Her strength was an inspiration to us all. The family would like to thank the staff at UHS Cardiovascular ICU and Dr. Mohammad Quasem.
The family will receive friends and family on Saturday January 7th, 2023, at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc. 1905 Watson Blvd. Endicott, NY from 11:00 AM – 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Diabetes Association or the Town of Maine Ambulance or adopt a cat.
