Teresa Kaye Simpson Howard, the 60 year old daughter of the late Linda Crabtree Simpson King and the late Lawrence Dentin (LD) Simpson, granddaughter of the late Lydia and Claude Crabtree and the late Maudie and Mitchell Simpson, the mother of the late Amber Kaye Howard and sister of Tommy Simpson, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her home in Strunk, Kentucky.
She was born in Oneida, Tennessee, on April 25, 1964. She leaves behind a son, Aaron Howard and fiancé Andrea Marlow and her girls Jenson and Jailee that she loved like her grandchildren. She also leaves behind Joe Strunk whom she loved like a son.
Her brothers are Mark Simpson (Diane) Larry Simpson (Teresa) and Danny Simpson (Deletta), and lots of nieces and nephews that she loved like her grandbabies. She will also be missed by her work families at South Fork Medical and Cumberland Family Medical Clinic whom she loved very much.
Besides working she enjoyed joking and picking on her family and friends. She liked to go shopping, and going on picnics.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. William Kilby officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Murray Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
