Terry Lee Huffstetler, 69, of Bessemer City, NC passed away on July 7 at home. He was the son of Mary Wolfe Huffstetler and the late James Huffstetler.
Terry graduated from Bessemer City High School in 1973. He worked for the Gaston County Sheriff's Department and then for Yellow Roadway Corporation for over 30 years. He was a past master of Whetstone Masonic Lodge #515.
Terry was an avid reader and enjoyed reading books on his Kindle. He also enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter. Terry was a loving father, grandfather, and a loyal friend and brother. We will treasure our memories of him.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Dawne Conrad Huffstetler; and his father, James Huffstetler.
Terry is survived by his daughter, Paige Huffstetler Ramsey and her husband Mitch, of Lake Wylie, SC; his granddaughter, Madeline Ramsey; his mother, Mary Huffstetler; and brothers Stephen Huffstetler and wife Nola of Bessemer City, Danny Huffstetler and wife Terri of Thrall, Texas, and Greg Huffstetler and wife Wanda of Lincolnton; girlfriend Denise Gwinn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Terry's life will be held at 12:00 pm, on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Hollywood Cemetery, 540 N Broad St., Gastonia, NC 28054, with Pastor Van Spencer officiating.
Memorial may be made to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.
