Terry F. Rexing

Terry F. Rexing, 61, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville.
Terry was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 7, 1961 to Francis J. and Barbara J. (Burton) Rexing. He was a 1979 graduate of Mater Dei High School and a 1983 graduate of Indiana State University Evansville in Marketing and Business Administration. He worked at Whirlpool for over 20 years. Terry was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He had an eye for antiques, especially antique cars, and enjoyed auctions. Terry also enjoyed Turner Classic Movies, was a great dancer, and played the saxophone since the 4th grade. He was a member of Knights of St. John and VFW Post #1114 Auxiliary. Terry had a green thumb and could grow anything. He adored his pets, Pepper and Ellie.
Terry is survived by his father, Francis J. Rexing of Evansville, IN; sister, Jill Mayo of Evansville, IN; and by his niece who he loved to the moon and back, Molly Mayo of Evansville, IN. Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother who he dearly loved, Barbara J. (Burton) Rexing; and grandparents, John and Otillia Burton and Joe and Florence Rexing.
A funeral service will begin at 9:30 am on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 418 North Wabash Ave., Evansville, IN 47712 with Father Christopher Droste celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Browning Funeral Home with a Rosary service held at 6:00 pm.
The family would like to thank the German Township Fire Department and the staff at Ascension St. Vincent for all of the care and support they have shown to Terry.
