Therese Weller Obituary

She was born on December 2, 1946, in New Albany, Indiana, one of five children to the late Paul Weller and Marie Magdalene Franck Weller. Her brothers, Paul Anthony and Donald Edward Weller and a sister, Mary Mattmiller precede her in death.
Therese graduated from Mercy Academy and received her bachelor's degree from Spalding University. She is a retired teacher's aide for Portland Elementary School and a 70-year member of Church of Our Lady (Good Shepherd Catholic Church) in Portland.
Therese is survived by her brother, Roy Gregory Weller (Sally); niece, Nancy Glaser of Chicago, IL; nephews, Aaron Mattmiller of Sebastian, FL and Jeff Mark Weller; and her longtime friend, Laverne Spurgin of Louisville. Therese will be missed by them all.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Drive with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church prior to mass, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews was entrusted with arrangements.
