Thomas E. Baker Sr.

Thomas Edward (Pops) Baker Sr, 66, of North Easton, MA passed away surrounded by family on August 20th 2022 in Milton, MA.
Born in Stoughton, MA, he was the son of the late Charles F and Carol HT (Bottomley) Baker. He was raised in North Easton where he resided for many years before moving and settling back down in North Easton.
He graduated from Oliver Ames High School in 1974. He last worked as an automobile salesperson for years before becoming disabled. Thomas enjoyed his family cottage on West Island where great memories were made with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, sailing in his younger years, beating anyone he could in croquet, flowers (especially his prized Vidalias), seafood and music such as The Steve Miller Band, Frank Sinatra, James Taylor, and U2. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and other family members who will all miss him very much.
Thomas is survived by his children Thomas Baker Jr and his wife Kristin of West Bridgewater, Andrew Baker and his wife Heather of North Easton and Julie Baker and her wife Julie of South Easton. He is also survived by siblings James Baker, Deborah Dalton, Patricia Morton, Mary McQuaid, Jonathan Baker, Jennifer Bryant and many nieces and nephews. Loving Grandfather to Dean, Grace, Grant, Michael, Camden and Logan. Thomas is preceded in death by his brothers Charles and Stephen Baker.
Visitation will be at Kane Funeral Home in Easton, MA on Saturday August 27th 2022 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A funeral service with follow immediately followed by a burial procession to the Unity Church of North Easton where Thomas will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the AccentCare Inpatient Hospice Center of Milton.
