Thomas F. "Tommy" Cail

Thomas F. Cail, 71, of Enfield, CT, formerly of Windsor Locks, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2025.

He was born on January 19, 1954, in Rockville, CT, to the late Harold and Mary (Reid) Cail. Thomas was raised in Windsor Locks and graduated from Windsor Locks High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged with the rank of Lance Corporal.

Thomas worked for many years at Kaman Aerospace as a Logistics Service Representative, spending a significant portion of his career at Borg El Arab Egyptian Air Force Base in Egypt. He enjoyed golfing, reading,particularly about wartime history, and was a proud volunteer with the Windsor Locks Lions Club. A devoted Boston Red Sox fan, he followed the team closely.

He is survived by his daughters, Heather Nowosad and her husband, Daniel, of Stroudsburg, PA; Sharon Winders and her husband, Todd, of Seattle, WA; and Amanda Gonzalez and her husband, Jeffrey, of Mechanicsburg, PA; his grandchildren, Jack and Tess Nowosad, and Madelyn and Lucas Gonzalez; his sister, Gail Millerick of Plainville, CT; his nephew, Keith Holmes; his niece, Stephanie Holmes; and his longtime and dear friend, Rick Meade of Florida.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his sister, Donna Holmes; his brother-in-law, Brian Holmes; and his brother-in-law, William Millerick.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
